Official Stamp of Quality for Eric F Box

A family-run Dewsbury firm has become the first funeral directors in Yorkshire to be granted the coveted ISO9002 quality standard.

The certificate - given only to those companies that satisfy strict demands on competency and procedure - was awarded to Eric F Box Funeral Directors this week.

The company now joins only a handful of other funeral directors in the UK as holders of thecertificate.

A delighted Edward Box, manager of the business, said the achievement underlined his company's quality service and also acted as a shot in the arm for the industry.

He said: "We are constantly looking to improve the service we provide to the people of Dewsbury and West Yorkshire and an accolade like this shows people that we are a quality operation.
